The Alliance

thieves_guild_cell_11_by_urbanzebra.jpgThe Alliance is the major thieves’ guild in town. They have their hands dipped in nearly every element of crime within the city.

The Alliance have not always been a strongly structured organization, but recent political developments have forced a coalition of the various criminal elements in Dyvers, using this as advantage to avoid any action that desegregated the whole organization. The somewhat less well-known leader of the group is called “The Shadow”, who’s identity is mysterious and may change fairly often, though the structure of the overall organization doesn’t. The Alliance divided the city into regions, each region having a representative in the of the “shadow Council”, a group of councilors to the Shadow Leader. These regional “Cloakmasters” act as supreme leaders of that region. Under the council’s members were the “Silhouettes”. Usually there were ten Silhouettes, one for each different criminal activity in which the Alliance deals: Assassins, Beggars, Bounty Hunters, Con Artist and Tricksters, Burglars, Cutpurses and Pickpockets, Enforcers and Thugs, Racketeers, Scouts and Spies, Fences, Smugglers and Pirates. The Silhouettes administrated their criminal activity in autonomy, although under supervision of the Cloakmasters, and usually law enforcers arrive to capture only to those level; by the name’s status usually law enforcers believed to had dismantled the guild capturing a guild master but in truth was only a moderate rank.
